Reading
Well, I need something to post to get to 100 posts.:-P
I have a stack about a foot tall under my bed of books to read, as well as all of Jon's Joel Salaton's books, and all our bookshelves full of great books! I decided to get a head start on all the reading, so right now I'm reading three books:
Martha's Husband by Blair Niles, written in 1951, is about the life of George Washington from his wife's, Martha's, point of view, and based on the letters that he wrote. It's very interesting, although it's not written from a Christian perspective.
You Can Farm by Joel Salaton. I just started reading this book yesterday, so I can't really write a review about it.
The Joy of Horses: A Beginner's Guide to Safe and Responsible Horsemanship by Joy Roberts, written in 1961 and reprinted in 1998. I recommend this book to all my horse crazy friends.:-) It's all about getting to know horses, the different breeds, colors of skin, hair, and the different markings, what to look for when buying a horse, what things you need when getting a horse (brushes, combs, hoof picks, halters, what kinds of feed buckets to get and not to get, etc.), how to take care of a horse (bathing, brushing, etc.), and much more! After reading the first few chapters, I came to the conclusion that horses are a lot of work, and cost a whole ton of money:-) (I still want a horse, though:-D)

We've had Reagan for About One Year!
We've had Reagan for about a year now! We're not exactly sure when we got her, but we know it was after Christmas.=) Here are a few pictures; they're not all in order, but it takes to much time to fix that.=)
Reagan on her first hike. She loved it!
Giving Jon a kiss.
The cutest puppy that every was! (Sorry Em and Ali, but I'm just a little bit prejudice.=)

My little angel.=)
The first day we had Reagan, we block off the kitchen so she could have the whole room to herself, but she still wasn't satisfied.=)
And now she's a big girl! (Btw this picture was taken about six months ago, and she's a lot bigger now!)

I played the piano for the first time in church today! Laura was planning on playing, but was feeling sick. Hannah, her usual backup, wasn't feeling well, either. While we were running out the door, daddy asked me to play. I have a grand total of about six or seven songs that I can play well enough for church, so we sang those. It went pretty well, but the only problem was, I like to play songs fast, and everyone sang them very slow. I especially had trouble with the last song, Open Wide Ye Everlasting Doors. When I hit one wrong note, it leads to another and another. When we got home, Laura declared me to be "a regular pianist", and I couldn't back out even if I wanted to.=)

Roy Rogers
This past month, we three girls saw pretty much all the Roy Rogers movies. They all were a lot of fun!
Roy Rogers’ Prayer
Roy Rogers and his wife, Dale Evans, were devoted Christians. Below is a prayer written by Roy.
Lord, I reckon I'm not much just by myself,
I fail to do a lot of things I ought to do.
But Lord, when trails are steep and passes high,
Help me ride it straight the whole way through.
And when in the falling dusk I get that final call,
I do not care how many flowers they send,
Above all else, the happiest trail would be,
For YOU to say to me, "Let's ride, My Friend."
Roy Rogers
While Roy was saying this prayer, his horse, Trigger, would close his eyes!

Lydia quote
Last night, as Laura was putting Lydia to bed she said, "I can't fall asleep." Laura told her to count sheep.
A little while later, Laura went into her room and she was still awake. Laura asked her why she wasn't counting sheep and Lydia replied, "I don't know what a sheep looks like. I've only seen cartoon sheep and when I think of cartoon sheep, I think of cartoons."
